For almost twenty-five years now, I have been actively involved in most facets of our livelihood, from grower to custom farm manager to director of operations of the United States’ largest pistachio nursery.  During this same time period, I have been honored to serve the pistachio industry in a variety of leadership positions, successfully guiding our industry in resolute fashion for the benefit and security of all of its members.  Past leadership roles with the California Pistachio Commission (CPC) include Chairman of the CPC, Chairman of the Administrative Committee and Chairman of the Production Research Committee, as well as serving as a member on both the CPC’s  Marketing Committee and Governmental Affairs Committee.  Currently, I am Chairman of the Administrative Committee for Pistachios (ACP), Vice-Chairman of the Western Pistachio Association (WPA), Chairman of the WPA’s Governmental Affairs Committee, and a two-term board member of the Cawelo Water District.
